Welcome from Dr. Niles Davis, Principal

Welcome to another exciting year at Bay Creek Elementary! As I begin my second year as principal, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this outstanding school community. Last year was filled with growth, achievement, and meaningful relationships, and I am proud of all we accomplished together. The dedication of our students, staff, and families made the 2025–2026 school year a tremendous success, and I am excited to build on that momentum.

This year's theme, United for Excellence, reflects our commitment to working together with a shared purpose. When students, families, staff, and the community unite around what is best for children, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Together, we will continue fostering a school culture where every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

At Bay Creek, we remain committed to providing high-quality, differentiated, and purposeful instruction that prepares students to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens. Most importantly, students will always remain at the heart of every decision we make.

I encourage you to continue being an active part of the Bay Creek Tiger family. Whether you volunteer, attend PTO events, participate in school activities, or support learning at home, your partnership plays a vital role in our students' success. Together, we will continue strengthening the connection between school and home while building an even stronger Bay Creek community.

At Bay Creek, we believe in playing for the name on the front of the jersey rather than focusing on the one on the back. That team-first mindset perfectly reflects what it means to be United for Excellence. By supporting one another and working toward common goals, we create the very best opportunities for every child to succeed.

My wife, Lynda, and I have proudly called Walton County home since 2010. We are grateful to be raising our three children—Kaylyn, Kaleb, and Kohen—in this wonderful community, and it is an honor to serve the families of Bay Creek Elementary.

I am excited for the 2026–2027 school year and look forward to all we will accomplish together. Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and support as we remain United for Excellence and continue making Bay Creek Elementary a place where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Bay Creek Elementary! It is an absolute honor and privilege to serve as your Assistant Principal. Working alongside our incredibly talented team of educators to support this wonderful community is a true joy. At Bay Creek, we are fully committed to cultivating a safe, nurturing, and academically rigorous environment where every single student can grow, thrive, and succeed.

Our overarching theme and guiding focus for this school year is United for Excellence.

We know that a child’s success is built on a strong foundation of collaboration. When our school, our teachers, and our families join forces, amazing things happen for our students. I warmly invite you to partner with us this year. Whether through daily open communication, volunteering your time, or actively participating in our wonderful PTO, your involvement makes a lasting impact. Together, we will help our students reach their highest potential, fostering lifelong learners who are both kind and responsible citizens.

On a personal note, Bay Creek has been my professional home for many years, and this community truly feels like family to me. My ties to Walton County run deep—my husband, Jim, is a teacher in the district, and our children both attended Walton County Schools and are high school graduates. Seeing them grow into wonderful young adults has only strengthened my belief in the incredible education and support our district provides.

I am incredibly proud to be a Bay Creek Tiger, and I cannot wait to see all the milestones we will reach together this year. Let’s stand United for Excellence!
