Welcome from Dr. Niles Davis, Principal

Welcome to Bay Creek Elementary!
I am honored to begin my first year as the principal of this outstanding school community. It is a privilege to join a team of passionate educators, supportive families, and amazing students who are all dedicated to creating a learning environment where every child can grow, thrive, and succeed.

I believe that all students have incredible potential when surrounded by staff who support them, challenge them, and hold them to high expectations. At Bay Creek, we are committed to continuing the tradition of excellence while embracing opportunities for growth and innovation.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, differentiated, and purposeful instruction that prepares students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. Most importantly, we believe students must always remain at the heart of everything we do.

As we move forward together, I invite you to be an active part of the Bay Creek Tiger team. Your presence at PTO events, your time volunteering in classrooms, and your support of school activities all strengthen the vital partnership between school and home. Together, we will continue building a strong, united community. Here at Bay Creek, we believe in playing for the name on the front of the jersey rather than focusing on the one on the back.

My wife Lynda and I have lived in Walton County since 2010. We are raising our three children, Kaylyn, Kaleb, and Kohen, in this wonderful community that we are proud to call home.

I am truly looking forward to a fantastic 2025–2026 school year and all that we will accomplish together as a team.

Assistant Principal - Dana Kitchens

It is with great excitement and pride that I welcome you to what promises to be a fantastic school year! As the Assistant Principal of Bay Creek Elementary, I am honored to serve such a wonderful community alongside a team of talented and dedicated educators. Our staff is committed to providing every student with a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment where they can thrive and grow.

This year is especially exciting as we welcome Dr. Niles Davis as our new principal. Dr. Davis brings strong leadership, a student-centered vision, and a passion for excellence that will continue to move Bay Creek forward. I am excited to work alongside him as we serve our students, families, and staff together.

At Bay Creek, we believe in the power of partnership. We know that when schools and families work together, amazing things happen for children. I encourage all parents and guardians to stay actively involved in your child’s education and to join us in partnership through open communication, volunteering, and supporting our incredible PTO.

We have high expectations for all our students—because we believe in them. We are dedicated to helping each child reach their fullest potential and become lifelong learners and kind, responsible citizens.

Personally, I have had the privilege of being part of the Bay Creek family for many years, and it feels like home. I deeply value the relationships I’ve built with our staff, students, and families. I’m also proud to call Walton County home—my husband, Jim, is a Walton County teacher, and both of our children attended Walton County Schools. Both of our children, Hailey and Jaden, are now proud high school graduates, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young adults they’ve become.

It is a joy to be part of this amazing school. I love being a Bay Creek Tiger, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together this year!
